Barbara Bosmans of "Ashmont"
I was educated at Dandenong High School and Monash University.
I studied oil painting with Max Casey in Warburton in 1978, then with John Balmain in Dandenong in 1979, with Cathy Van Ee in 2009 and John Bredl in 2010.I am a continuing student of Colin Johnson at the Peninsula Art Society Inc. in Mt Eliza, Victoria from the beginning of 2004.
I'm a realist painter and I've painted portraits of people and dogs, landscapes, private gardens, still lifes and historic buildings.
I earned a "Highly Commended" in the Blue Wedges Coalition Exhibition in the Kingston Centre in Moorabbin in 2005.
I exhibit locally, have accepted commissions and have paintings in private collections in Victoria and interstate.
