Leigh Curson
I am a retired truck driver now with time to concentrate on a neglected passion for Landscape Painting. Mostly self taught, I have received much valuable advice from artist freinds and also colleagues at the Heidelberg Art Scoeity. I have entered paintings in Society Art Shows with sales in each.
I have entered paintings at two Rotary Camberwell Art Shows, selling a painting at each show.
When I retired from driving in 2008 and began to devote more time to painting, I discovered the joys of using acrylic paints, in the oil painting style, a medium that seems to suit my impressionist, realist landscapes. Until recently I painted mainly on canvas but lately I have turned to MDF board.
I thank the Camberwell Rotary Club for the opportunity to have my work on display and hope for a very successful show for all concerned.
ue to a busy work schedule I found it hard to make the time to develope the necessary passion. |
