My Name is Christian Jordan Vallejos, born September 25 1992. I am 18 years old, I grew up in Melbourne Victoria Australia, and always had a passion for Art. As a kid I would focus all my attention in my art and realized this is what i wanted to do for the rest of my life. At the age of twelve I went to Africa with my family for 4 months and became aware of the suffering around us and was inspired to create images displaying poverty and the suffering of others around us, my goal was to make this aware to the more fortunate people in our modern society. My drawing "Hungry" was accepted into an art gallery in New Port, at the age of 16 I started to play tropical instruments such as the ukulele, the conga drum and electric jazz Guitar. I realized I got the same peace and feeling at playing music as I did with my Art and wanted to do both. I became inspired by the work of David Garibaldi and started to use my music as a motivation to create and now I want others to see and feel my work the way i did. Currently I'm studying at CAE doing a Visual Arts Certificate 3 course and hoping to make my work publicized in the feature. |
