ARTISTIC STATEMENT

\r\n

I enjoy exploring cityscapes and streetscapes through the medium of acrylic paint.

\r\n

The city streets of Melbourne, its culture, its coffee, its events, its street art and its people are now prominent in my work.

\r\n

I am fascinated by architectural elements, but also the feeling and moods created by the presence of buildings, streets, traffic, art and people.

\r\n

I also enjoy creating richly detailed textile pieces.

\r\n

My Textiles are inspired by the rich and layered world of art history, particularly Romanesque, Gothic and Byzantine art.
