After studying at Monash University and the Victorian Artists Society, June Jacono spent time under the tutelage of Barbara McManus, Helene Seymour,and Carol Boothman.
Deciding to specialise in Oils and Pastels, she has honed her skills and developed her own individual style. She specialises in Floral Art and draws inspiration from both the Australian Landscape and her overseas experiences. She has visited many of the famous Galleries in both Europe and America, her main interest being the Impressionists.
Her paintings hang in a number of private collections interstate and overseas in the United Kingdom and America. Apart from several commissions, she has exhibited widely in various venues as well as solo Exhibitions including representational work at Spectrum Gallery, The Five Ways Gallery Kalorama, The Highway Gallery Mt. Waverley, Adele’s Gallery of Fine Arts, and various Waverley Arts Society and Pastel Society Exhibitions, and The Glen Shopping Centre Glen Waverley.
