As a young artist aged 15 Kerry caught the ateention of buyers, who even then commissioned her work.
However over time, life, career and raising a family got in the way of her paint brush and did so for quite some time. But now her children have grown, her paint brush is rarely far from her hands.
Now working as a full time freelance artist, Kerry has painted well over 200 paintings, many of which have been commissioned by those who know her work.
As her work progresses, she is once again recieving high praise. Kerry's art stands apart in it's raw depiction of the Australian Outback, sea and landscapes, especially after events such as Bushfire, floods etc. Her art often depicts the flora and Fauna both native to Australia and introduced focusing on life in the bush.
Although her commissioned work has often been quite ecclectic with paintings of portrait, pets, old family farmhouses, race horses, Farm animals as well as well as her signature Sea and land scapes.
The media she uses includes. oil, Acrylic, Pastel and pencil.
Kerry has sold her works both nationally and internationally, mainly to the US and the UK. and has been invited to exhibit at home as well as in Denmark, New Zealand, South Arica and France.
Kerry's work is on constant exhibition in various localities around Australia. She has won numerous awards and has been short listed for a number of art competitions.
While Kerry's art is now proving to be quite collectable, it is not surprising as her ability and passion for her work is evident in every painting. |
