Glenn McLeod Leaity
In 1999 I attended an introductory art course to fulfill a desire to create art works that had had to be sidelined while bringing up a family. This course introduced me to oil painting and later classes to improve my drawing skills led me to include pastels as a medium.
I have immersed myself into the 'art world' on the Gold Coast, attending many workshops with distinguished local and visiting artists, and participating in life drawing sessions.
I am Secretary of the Royal Queensland Art Society Gold Coast Branch, a member of the Pastel Society of Australia and co-ordinator of the art section of the Gold Coast Art Festival 2012.
I continue to extend knowledge of art at every opportunity and regularly include my work in local exhibitions.
