ARTIST BIO

Sally is an artist from Moriac, Victoria who has always painted and drawn from a young age, being involved in many art projects over the years. After a nursing career of almost 30 years, she decided to concentrate fully on artistic endeavours in 2008.

Sally exhibits in art shows across Victoria and has partaken in several solo and joint exhibitions. Her artwork is in many private collections both locally and overseas. Her work is much sought after and she has been commissioned often to create unique art pieces for clients.

Sally paints with lots of imagination and various subjects displaying a range of styles but her work is often recognised for her quirkiness, humour and bright, blazing colours. She adores the beautiful and the funny, an interesting combination!

Sally exhibits at Sturt Street Gallery in Alfredton, Ballarat and at Anglesea Art House in Anglesea, Victoria.

She is a committee member of the Anglesea Art House, a member of the Pastel Society of Victoria and Surf Coast Arts.

Her work can be viewed on her website, www.SallyFordArtworks.com, Redbubble.com, www.gallery247.com.au or on Facebook as Sally J. Ford Artworks.
